A true treasure trove of local artisanal pieces. There are primitive artworks that speak to the aesthetics of the region, such as birdhouses made from bits of moss with tiny river pebbles and sturdy handcrafted wooden furniture and turned bowls made from local timber. Superbly woven towels and linens, knitted caps, and quilts show off the agile fingerwork of the locals. A bevy of published materials from home-grown authors, including spiritual mediums and storytellers, are represented. And an honest-to-God encounter with blow-your-mind ceramics, jewelry, and paintings round out the inventory. To top it all off, Mary Ann and Buster are just good people.
Very unique, quaint shop. Features local artisans. A have-to-go place because you hardly ever see the same thing twice, if ever. Love, love their Raku & handmade jewelry. Adele Williams has beautiful jewelry.
I am always amazed to see such a fine collection of art work, pottery, paintings and so many various pieces available in one store. The staff is knowledgeable, professional and very courteous to everyone that visits. I have purchased numerous pieces of pottery and they are usually a center of conversation in my house.
I really like this place! All of the artists and local crafters represented here are wonderful.
Love this place, they have local art, pottery, textiles, jewelry. Even a community pottery studio.
