I'll never again waste my time going to this pathetic excuse for a business establishment.
We took our stand up freezer to them on August 23rd to have it repaired bc it wasn't freezing, they said they would let us know within a couple days if it could be fixed, we didn't hear anything for a week and a half so I called them on Sept. 1st and they said that they had it plugged up to see what it was doing and said that it wasn't freezing like it was supposed to and to call back the next day. I called back the next day and they told me that it was working like it was supposed to and that they wanted to keep it a couple more days to make sure it stayed working. I had my husband call back and they told him that it wasn't working properly and to give them a couple more days to see if it could be fixed. So he called back on Thursday and they still didn't know anything. They called us today and said it was "ready" and we could come get it. He gets there and it's not working at all and there is nothing they can do (which is fine, if it's not fixable then we can't complain) but my issue is it took them 2 1/2 weeks to tell us "nope it don't work" we could have already bought a new one and refilled our freezer with food.
In July 2013 a local Russellville, AR real estate agency purchased a used top/bottom GE refrig w/freezer from All In One on my behalf. I was moving to Russellville from out-of-state so I needed a unit upon my move-in to a rental home. When I moved-in and saw the old model unit I knew immediately it was old, neglected (not clean inside) but thought it was worth the $245.00 + $40 delivery I paid for it in advance of move-in. After only 15 months of being in service it died; no cold or even cool air from the compressor or coil's fan from rear compartment of freezer. The coils could have had a freon leak or the compressor went bad. After my inspection removing the lower rear panel cover it was very obvious this unit was repaired several times. It became apparent All In One's technicians know how to bump start an aged unit so as not to invest much money into them. I was told at another local appliance store they installed a "3-in-1" (universal compressor) capacitor and it was wired in place but it was probabably salvaged (not new) from another unit. All In One takes parts from other inventory used units and they won't spend $12 - $15 for a new capacitor. The Owner of All In One gave me every excuse she could think of ((rambling on for 15-20 mins.) why she wouldn't buy it back and blamed its premature failure on power surges and stated any unit if laid on its side will be damaged beyond repair. I was told by another shop this also is far from the truth. They'll need to stand upright for 1 -2 hrs. before plugging in again to give the freon or other regrigerant chemical a chance to re-settle. The steel frame at bottom and sides (upon removal of bottom vent grill) also had severe rust. I estimate it was over 18, maybe 20-25 yrs. old (a relic probably from numerous rental units). In summary I resorted to taking it to a local scrap yard where I rec'd. $10 for its weight so it will never end up in another rental home again.
When I was in the store looking at the used ranges they had, I inquired about selling them my old range, and was told they typically pay around $20 for a range with a bad control board. (Which I suspected was the problem with mine) this morning I brought the old range in to sell to them. I was greeted much more quickly this time, I'm guessing only because there happened to be an associate standing next to the front door as I walked in and forcibly made eye contact. They were happy to unload the range, and did so fairly promptly.. However when I went back inside for payment (mind you, this is only $20), I was told that they don't pay for broken appliances. I commented that I could get money even for scrap metal for the range, and the associate immediately called to have the range loaded back into my vehicle. Since it was only $20, and I was again completely fed up with this store, I said they could just have it and left.
Large selection. They will work with you and your price range. My fridge works great! Had it over a year now
Bottom line, if you want to gamble on your appliance purchases, All in One is the place for you.
Awesome service and friendly staff. Go see them today great selection top notch appliances.
My first experience:
My second experience:
Walking through the door in search of a replacement electric range, I had to stand alone staring at one of their only two electric coil top ranges for around five minutes before I was even greeted. When I finally was, it was something along the lines of "what do you need", not a " welcome to our store", "thanks for stopping by" , or even a "how can I help you".
Stear clear of this store unless you don't mind wasting your money; $285, as I unfortunately did. There are other used appliance stores in Russellville or south on Hwy. 7 in Dardanelle that have much better condition, newer appliances for much less than All In One charges and they have integrity and HVAC technicians' knowledge unlike All In One. There is also Lowes in town on Parkway where you can buy a brand new unit for about $100 - $150 (depending on CF capacity & model) more but it will last you many yrs. & will be pristine clean, mold free. Fact is All In One's Owner or manager will ruthlessly lie straight to your face and will attempt to give you a false impression she is an expert which she is far from. Don't make the same mistake I did, learn from this and other reviews as I should have done beforehand. Also don't let a real estate agency buy a unit sight unseen on your behalf before you move in. Buy & inspect your own applicances and don't settle for a 6-month warranty which they'll probably try to weasel out of by blaming breakdowns on local utility company power surges.
As I was standing there waiting on someone to acknowledge my existence, I happened to notice the only two electric ranges in the store are in far worse shape than the one I had intended to replace. Once I asked a single question about the bottom drawer being misaligned, a repair man was called from the back where he pulls the drawer out and plainly states that the drawer is broken on one side. After this, I completely lost interest in any further purchases from this store. If they can't even inspect a bottom drawer to make sure it slides properly, (the drawer wouldn't even close and align with the front of the range) I wonder what else they didn't bother to inspect?
