I have tried this salon twice, both times were not pleasant experiences. Today, however, was the nail in the coffin. I called around 9:15 to see if there was any appointments available for today. The employee who answered the phone said that she could not access the schedule book as the the manager was not in, but if I came in at 10 AM she had availability. I was there at 9:50 AM. There was only one employee working at that time and when I walked in asked if I was the person who called for an appointment. I told her yes. She said that there would be someone coming in at 10 who could cut my hair. I said okay and sat down to wait. The TV in the waiting area was blaring (I really do mean blaring) Sports Center. At 9:59 the next employee came in and said that she had another client scheduled at 10 but that a third person was supposed to be coming in today and she would text her and see if she was on the way. I said okay. I waited and waited. Finally, the second employee states that the other stylist was not coming in but that she could cut my hair after she finished her current client, a man with short hair. I said okay, thinking that it would take about 20 minutes at most for a hair cut. Forty minutes later, the haircut was finished but apparently he was also going to get a full facial and eyebrow tweeze. I could not wait any longer especially with the TV blaring in my ear and I left. I am surprised this salon stays open with the poor scheduling and customer service. I had nearly the same experience the first time I tried them. Will not be going back.
It just looks awful, just awful. Adding photos of what I showed her I wanted and what I ended up with. I had long hair down to my waist and some deeper bangs that were under my chin. And now I have this awful shaggy haircut. I asked for her to do it like Isla Fisher's haircut when she has bangs or Jennifer Aniston's haircut with some longer bangs. I said layers were fine and some tapering but to keep it as long as possible, we agreed on 3 inches from the bottom. She gave me bangs alright, she did tapering from my forehead all the way down and lost about 12 inches of my hair in the back because she couldn't get it even. She used the thinning shears on my already thin hair. I lost at least 18 inches of hair from the midsections. Oh, and there are NO layers and it is still uneven. It's just awful and can barely put half of it in a ponytail now. I had Karli for my stylist and I cried when I got home, my daughter said the haircut made me look like a boy's haircut in the front. It's that short. They said they will refund me and offered to fix it, but I will never go there again and will not give them the chance to butcher it even more. It will take 2 years to get my old hairstyle back and at least 6 months of wearing a ponytail and some strategically place bobby pins. Never going here again.
